Haven’t done these in a while! Feels good to start bringing back some more strength and power into my weight sessions. The closer I’ll get to my race (and my 30th birthday!) the more power will be in my workouts ????????????????

Those crazy videos you see of kids doing box jumps is more an indicator of amazing hip flexibility than of explosive power and jumping ability.
Yes, these are great for sprinting and sports. They’re a great way to teach you to use your strength in an explosive manner. No one cares on the court, field or track if you deadlift 300kg. It’s all about teaching your nervous system to apply that strength in as little time as possible.
